1. General Provisions
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the ScholaEdit.AI platform ("Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
2. Service Description
ScholaEdit.AI is an AI-powered academic research platform. It integrates with WOS, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases to provide literature search, citation analysis, academic writing assistance, and data visualization services.
3. Account Creation and Security
- You must provide accurate and current information to create an account
- You are responsible for the security of your account credentials
- You must keep your password confidential and not share it with others
- You must notify us immediately if you detect unauthorized access to your account
- Each user may create only one account
4. Acceptable Use
When using the Platform, you must comply with the following rules:
- You may only use the Platform for lawful purposes
- You must act in accordance with academic integrity and ethical principles
- You must respect the intellectual property rights of others
- You must avoid actions that could compromise the security of the Platform
- You must not use automated bots or scraping tools
- You must not upload malware or malicious code
5. Intellectual Property
The Platform and its content (software, design, logos, text) are the intellectual property of ScholaEdit.AI. Users retain ownership of content they create on the platform. AI-generated content is provided as guidance and should be used under the user's responsibility.
6. Subscription and Payment
- Paid plans are offered as monthly or annual subscriptions
- Payments are collected at the beginning of each billing period
- You can cancel your subscription at any time
- Upon cancellation, service continues until the end of the current period
- Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance
- A 14-day free trial period is available
7. Limitation of Liability
ScholaEdit.AI does not guarantee that the Platform will operate without interruption or errors. AI-generated content is for informational purposes only, and academic accuracy must be verified by the user. We do not accept liability for indirect damages arising from the use of the Platform.
8. Account Suspension and Termination
In case of violation of these terms, your account may be suspended or terminated with prior notice, or immediately in cases of severe violations. You may close your account at any time.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notifications. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Istanbul Courts have jurisdiction over disputes.
